Your Position
As a Clinical Applications Specialist, you will provide excellent education and training support for HeartFocus to clinical end-users. Your contributions will span the full customer journey—from pre-sales demonstrations to post-implementation, including on-site customer meetings.
You will report directly to our Chief Growth Officer (CGO), who is responsible for go-to-market and commercialization.
Your Mission
- Provide technical and clinical leadership during the pre-sales process by demonstrating the use of HeartFocus, including product capabilities, and benefits to customers, including how they can save time, money and improve workflows.
- Coordinate, schedule, and execute training for customers, and monitor and report on training outcomes. Demo HeartFocus, through active body scanning on yourself in front of the customer
- Serve as a subject matter expert, and clinical liaison to the sales organization to strengthen internal clinical capabilities, while also driving business opportunities forward.
- Support trade shows and professional conferences by performing product demonstrations and customer training.
- Build close relationships with customers (highlighting key opinion leaders (KOLs) where necessary) and standardize and optimize protocols and support clinical initiatives.
- Collaborate with DESKis R&D and product teams by providing clinical insights and contributing to the evolution of our technology.
Your Requirements
- US certification in cardiac ultrasound or POCUS ultrasound
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in sonography, cardiology or emergency medicine teams
- Deep understanding of clinical education, training and associated process implementation.
- Knowledge of Healthcare Information Systems, networking and IT
- Willingness to travel extensively 80+% (3-4 days per week including overnights and some weekends) within the US via multiple modes of transportation (car, air travel, & train, etc.)
- Adaptability in working within an international team, with different cultures and time zones
- Can lift 40 pounds if required.
Experience & Qualifications
- US certification in cardiac ultrasound or POCUS ultrasound
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Knowledge of POCUS required, and already comfortable in scanning own body
- Physically able to lift up to 40 lbs (such as a scanning table)
- A valid driver’s license is required (to commute to and from the airport)

What to expect regarding travel:
This role is mainly on the move, to meet clients. It includes remote working, often at the customers’ or partners’ locations, as well as home office work. You must be willing to travel (80%+) including over-nights, to smartly manage logistics and travel spending.)
