Your Position
As a Clinical Application Specialist, you lead onboarding of new customers in-person and online, and support Sales during the selling cycle, participating in events, meetings and presentations. You will be able to self-scan the 10 cardiac views, standing, using the Heartocus product. Your contributions will span the full customer journey—from pre-sales demonstrations to post-implementation, including on-site customer meetings, and high flexibility and frequent travel is expected.
You will report directly to our Chief Growth Officer (CGO), who is responsible for go-to-market and commercialization.
Your Mission
- Provide technical and clinical leadership during the pre-sales and onboarding process by demonstrating how to use HeartFocus, including product capabilities, and benefits to customers, including how they can save time, money and improve workflows.
- Demonstrate how to scan, by self-scanning, standing in front of the customer, articulating how to capture the 10 cardiac views using HeartFocus
- Coordinate, schedule, and execute onboarding and training for customers, and monitor and report on meetings held utilizing the CRM tool in place (ZOHO).
- Serve as a POCUS subject matter expert, and clinical liaison to the sales organization to strengthen internal clinical capabilities in the US, while also driving business opportunities forward.
- Support trade shows and professional conferences by performing product demonstrations, customer demonstrations and training on HeartFocus.
- Build close relationships with customers during the onboarding process, also identifying possible key opinion leaders for DESKi in the process
- Collaborate with DESKis R&D and product teams by providing clinical insights and contributing to the evolution of our technology, including standardizing and optimizing protocols and supporting clinical initiatives.
- Project manage ongoing trials and case study explorations with clinical settings in the US in partnership with the CEO.
Your Requirements
- You have over held an ARDMS cardiac certificate during your career
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in sonography, cardiology teams
- Knowledge of Healthcare Information Systems, networking and IT and comfortable working with a CRM tool every day
- Deep understanding of customers' onboarding, clinical support and associated process implementation.
- Willingness to travel extensively 80+% (up to 4 days per week incl. overnights and some weekends) within the US via multiple modes of transportation (car, air travel, & train, etc.)
- Adaptability in working within an international team, with different cultures and time zones, and can travel to France 1-2 times per year.
- Can lift 40 pounds if required (or the weight of a scanning bed).
Experience & Qualifications
- Already worked as a sales or pre-sales position in a MedTech company
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Knowledge of POCUS required, and candidate must be able to and comfortable in scanning their own body for the 10 cardiac views while standing, and while presenting to others
- Physically able to lift up to 40 lbs (such as a scanning table)
- A valid driver’s license is required (to commute to and from the airport)

What to expect regarding travel:
This role is mainly on the move, to meet clients. It includes remote working, often at the customers’ or partners’ locations, as well as home office work. You must be willing to travel (80%+) including over-nights, to smartly manage logistics and travel spending.)
